Needed a replacement, and this one surpassed expectations for the price tag.

The bangs were wonky, thin in places, and there were these strange parts that I just couldn’t fix. I’ve never had this much trouble with wigs before, and I’ve worked with some cheap ones in my time. I’ll definitely be sticking to other brands from now on. I was hoping for more bang for my buck, but alas, these wigs just don’t cut it. Maybe I lucked out with two duds, but I can’t in good conscience recommend ’em.

This wig steals the show in the vid, top left corner. Pros? Came in slick packaging, had a net included, looked fresh outta the factory, and that texture for the price? Aces. Flare bangs are a vibe, too. Cap fit like a glove, even on my big noggin. Cons? Cap felt like sandpaper, shine was a dead giveaway, and that hairline? Totally fake. Better than expected

So, this wig? First off, it comes in slick packaging, with a net to boot. Looked brand spankin’ new, and that texture? Aces for the price. Those flare bangs? Obsessed! Cap fits snug, even on my big ol’ noggin. But, gotta keep it real, that cap texture’s a tad itchy, and there’s this shine that’s a dead giveaway it’s not your real deal. Plus, the hairline? Yeah, it’s a bit of a giveaway. But for less than ten bucks, I ain’t sweating it. Might need to invest in a nylon cap to ease the itch, though.

Hold the phone, this wig’s only 13 bucks? That’s a steal, my friend. But gotta be real, the synthetic hair’s shinier than a disco ball. Not Halloween-store cheesy, but definitely not fooling anyone into thinking it’s real hair. Also, it’s a bit less wavy than in the pics, but no biggie. I combed it out right away ’cause it was a frizzy mess straight outta the bag. Bangs are easy to tame, though I haven’t tried heat styling yet. And that part at the top? Ugh, hate it. And don’t even get me started on the wig cap—black cap with cherry-red hair? Not a good look. Those dang straps are useless too, just getting in the way. And those pesky shorter hairs? Yeah, they’re a pain, but they seem to sort themselves out after a while. Overall, it’s a solid cheap wig, but if you’re a cosplay pro, you might wanna look elsewhere.

So, I ordered two of these bad boys. Been rocking wigs for three years now after losing my hair, so I’ve tried my fair share. But man, the first one was a disaster. It felt like it got hit with a heatwave or something—stiff as a board and falling apart. Spent hours straightening and washing it, but it was still a mess. Second one wasn’t much better, to be honest. Figured maybe the first was just a fluke, but nah. Managed to salvage it after a ton of effort, but dang, most wigs I’ve dealt with only need like 30 minutes to look killer. These took me hours and still weren’t perfect. The bangs are wonky, and there are these weird bits that just won’t behave. Definitely gonna try some different brands next time. Expected more, even for the price. Wouldn’t recommend these, sadly.

But hey, overall, I’m loving this wig! It’s easy to slap on, fits any head size, and feels pretty decent quality. I went ahead and ordered seven of these red wigs. Yeah, seven. Why, you ask? Well, my brother was coming back from Brazil, where his fiance lives, and she’s rocking this vibrant red hair. So, as a goofy little family thing, we all threw on these red wigs when he got back, just for laughs. Our youngest wig wearer is just 2 years old, and our oldest? 73. I mean, sure, it wasn’t exactly made for a toddler, but we made it work for the short time that a 2-year-old would tolerate it. And let me tell you, this wig looked killer on everyone! It was all in good fun, but we looked fab. And the quality? Way better than I thought it’d be. Super comfy, popped it on straight outta the package, and bam! All seven wigs were top-notch. Seriously, I was blown away by the quality. Did not see that coming.

Overall, not bad for the price, but gotta keep your expectations in check. Oh, and I’ll test out the heat resistance another time.
